Historic Home Tour

May is Historic Preservation Month! To celebrate, we are co-hosting a #thisplacematters Tour of Historic Homes to benefit the Davies Homeless Shelter. The event, hosted by the Rome Area Heritage Foundation and additional sponsors including @housesofromega, and Toles, Temple & Wright, the tour will be an event to remember.

Additional sponsors include Fast Printing, @homeinromega, Avery McCullough Photography and Greater Community Bank.

In the fall of 2016, our men’s shelter re-opened. The Shelter allows us to offer guests every opportunity to build their best future through adequate facilities, new and enhanced education and training programs, on-site collaboration with other agencies, and so much more. We work one-on-one with each guest to navigate individual challenges and accomplish stability.
We are in the beginning stages of fundraising for a Women’s Shelter, with space for women and children. Currently in Rome, there is a critical need for a women’s shelter in Floyd County.
